I cooked the feast this year in my vintage Cadillac-of-ovens, an old double-wide Custom Deluxe Frigidaire. Gorgeous. Two ovens are a Thanksgiving cook's dream, right? It was lovely to have dualing temperature controls and that extra space.
But this old girl is naughty. The first time I cooked on her back in April, the smoke and burglar alarm system in the house went off from the intensity of her heat! Yesterday I disarmed them before stoking her up.
